"We didn't find any backlinks for your domain" Huh?

Hi,

I just analyzed my site at site-analyzer and I received the message that they didn't find any backlinks for my domain.

This is weird because I do have backlinks from various sources.

Has anyone experienced this themselves too? Or does anyone know what can be the cause / how to fix this?

Thank you very much in advance,
Stefan

Try a real backlink checker like Create a free account, Moz, Rank Signals, Majestic. The site you mentioned is not a true backlink checker.

      Thank you very much dp40oz,

Just checked with openlinkprofiler and this time backlinks were found.

But not all of my links are shown, I've done some guest posting that is not shown in the list. I've checked and it seems to be fine.

Do you maybe know why this is?

      Thanks in advance

No 3rd party backlink checker site will ever show all of your backlinks, they don't have the resources to scrape every single webpage on the web.

The best you can do is use multiple backlink checkers, download all the backlink URLs and remove duplicate URLs to create a master list. Obviously add in the links you've personally built.

In the end the only thing that matters is your backlink is followed and shows up on the Google cache (text version) of the backlink page. That's your proof Google knows about your backlinks. 3rd party link checkers have nothing to do with ranking pages.

    Not all backlinks are visible.
This isn't new and has been like this since the mid days of SEO.

I would rather worry about building more links.

      Thank you Johnben,

I'm quite new to SEO so didn't knew that jet.

I'll be focusing on building links instead from now on
