A lot claim bounce rate does affect your site ranking

there are also tailor make plugin to reduct your bounce rate..


etc etc...

for me I don't care as long the traffic got increase...as i more concern traffic and more keywords go to top 10

        depends on the site and so many other factors. i have one page sites with 100% bounce rate.

          well I happen to come upon one site talk about bounce rate.

          the author give a range if I remember ...


          from 10 to 50 is good

          60 to 70 is average

          70 to 100 is bad

          yes , he also do mention if your site is one page aka perhaps like Lead , capture page bound to have 90 to 100 bounce rate.

          but for blog should be average or good.

            As a "searcher", I am searching for information for something I need now. 99.9% of the time I find it via Google and visit the site and get what I want and leave. 99.9% of the sites i visit get 100% bounce rate from me.
            ...google knows that happens.

    Bounce rate for SEO is about as important as marshmallows. Nobody has or will ever have a perfect bounce rate.

    All you need to worry about is the conversion rate ($$).

    of course everyone should care about bounce rate. its totally ASININE not to.

    whether SEo ranking are affected by it does not matter beans (which is why its so silly for people to fight down the idea it affects ranking - something you should be improving anyway.)

    What business person would not care that out of every one hundred people entering his store seventy say yuck and immediately leave? and which nitwit business owner doesn't know that 70 our of 100 leaving doesn't affect his conversions?
