You can do a 301 redirect from the old URL pointing to the new URL but there's no guarantee the new page will rank in the old money page SERP position.

You could also use a canonical tag which is similar to a redirect depending on If you want to keep the old pages online.

  • Redirection of URL is done to open same landing page with different URL address. This can be done by .htaccess 301 redirect method. For this you website must be accessible on Apache server.

I also think that a 301 redirect is the best way for you, because it is the most reliable way to create a permanent redirection from one URL to another. It is useful for funneling your link juice as well as when you completely change the destination of a web site or page.

301 Redirects are one of the oldest techniques used in SEO and they are still extremely important and have become more versatile in the last many years. A 301 redirect is also known as a permanent redirect, should be put in place to permanently redirect a page.

301 redirect is the most effective and Search Engine Friendly method for webpage redirection. It's not that hard to apply and it should keep your search engine rankings for that particular page. If you have to change file names or move pages around, it's the best solution. The code "301" is considered as "moved permanently".
