Is this kind of link Building Safe?

I didn't check the whois but due to similarity in design, I guessed they are all from one person or one seo company, maybe wrong! why does it matter!? Spamming?

First of all, Google sees domain registration data and knows all those links are coming from one account and/or even worse from the same server block. Obvious manipulation in their eyes which can cripple the domain you are trying to promote.


The best practice is to create really strong content on your domain. Google WILL see this content as worthy and if you don't try and fabricate links they will TRUST the domain.


Of course this takes time. When we start a new domain we just load it up with a dozen or so extremely strong pages/posts, then I wait about 6 months to see if Google "likes" what it sees.


If, after six months you notice a trickle of traffic to your new domain then you can go forward and POUND it with more great content.


This gains more trust with Google, and the fact that you never created a single link using manipulate tactics means your future will be bright.


I know that most newbies think that's crazy because they want traffic and income RIGHT NOW! Unfortunately the waiting game is part of it.


When we started out (2003) we took three domains and ran them squeaky clean as described above. No tricks, no links, no forum signatures, no guest posts, NOTHING. Just create great content and let it marinate.


With my free time I played around with auto-blogs, grey hat and black tactics, etc. It was fun and for a very limited time some of those tactics worked. Then they were knocked down.


I always used private domains and different servers registered with a throw away business name so that my black/grey work wasn't associated with my "clean" domains.


Over the years those three clean domains gained rank in with the search engines. And now 14 years later those three domains make 95% of our income. We both quit our jobs 10 years ago and our current internet income is 3-4 times hire than our combined incomes were.


So those newbies who desperately want to quit their day jobs NOW and go full time should resist that folly. Keep your day job and start building high quality content. Time will then be on your side.


And don't listen to anyone whos says online income is a fantasy and that all work-at-home-schemes are scams. There are many people who make fantastic livings online. We now work about an hour a day and last year was our best year ever.


There have been bumps in the road along the way, and I'm sure they'll be more. However, as long as you enjoy writing and creating content you will reap the rewards.
