I would check out Local Search Forum. Great resource and discussion area for local SEO.

Linda Buquet also sells a course there. She knows local about as well as anyone.

She's a member here too, but I don't think she logs on very much here.

Hi Yarvua. Fortunately, SEO courses and resources online are rife and there are many opportunities to learn from in front of your computer so you don't even have to leave your office! Google have released a starter guide which is a great place to start as, after all, all we're trying to do with SEO is keep the powers that are Google happy!

http://static.googleusercontent.com/...rter-guide.pdf SEO by the sea (SEO by the Sea - San Diego, California SEO) is a great website focussed completely on SEO and the intricacies behind it. The writer, Bill Slawski has read through each and every patented search engine and put them into real terms for us, so I feel that the least we can do to thank him for his hard work, is read it!

Udemy.com also offer a fantastic SEO course which is completely free. If you're interested in learning about SEO, which you obviously are then this course will teach you the basics of optimizing your website and giving you some strategies to make your SEO campaign a success. Luckily, there are a tonne of resources out there if you're just starting out on your SEO journey but the best advice I can give you (trust me, I've been there!) is trial and error.

Not all techniques work with your brand and target market, and perhaps you can find a new way to do things. Use Google and Udemy as a foundation but once you've got the basic understanding, see what works best for you!
