I wanted to ask about Guest Posting SEO techs. Is it useful for better ranking of my website or may be considered as a spam by Google?

    Guest posting is very helpful and essential in having your website rank higher in Google search results. If you are worried about Google recognizing it as spam, basically there is not much to worry about, as long as you don't add spammy content or something that might trigger it.

    However, for your website to rank higher, the key is NOT TO OVERUSE THE KEYWORDS, since Google keeps a keen eye on this matter, resulting your website to rank lower or even missing in the search results.

    Yes indeed Guest Blogging helps in gaining better ranking over SERPs.

    It just you have to be cautious towards the anchor texts usage. Try not to go more with exact keywords instead use brandable and instead of getting links from author profile grab a contextual link that give more weightage over rankings.

    Yes, it helps.

    Make sure the sites you approach for guest posting are well respected authority sites in your niche.

    It's much better to get just a few links from high quality sites rather than a bunch of links from crappy sites. The crappy ones will do more harm than good.

    It is not considered as spam, if you guest-post on a high quality website.

    To find blogs for your topic, just do a Google search for your topic, with the word "blog" after it , and you will find plenty. Before you approach any of them, you'll need to make sure that your own website is high quality, with a high quality blog of your own. Then read the submission policy for each blog, or contact them if there isn't one.

    You are guest posting to sites that are KNOWN for handing out links like candy

    You are getting links mostly from sites that have ZERO link domain relevance

    You are getting links within a narrow range of time.

    To do backlink building right, you have to focus on creating a NATURAL LOOKING FOOTPRINT.

    A guest post is a quality backlink if it comes from a trusted website that has authority. Most people use guest posts to gain traffic from the website. However, if the link is dofollow, then you will also be able to get ranking improvement from the link. A guest post will not be considered spam to search engines, but it will not be valued as much if you make a guest post on a website that has little authority.

    Also, guest-posting will give you a benefit that can be much BETTER than improved SEO . . . a good guest-post on a big site, can give you a lot of direct traffic (straight from your link in the article, to your site), which is likely to convert much BETTER than search engine traffic.

    So there are multiple benefits from doing guest posting well.
