Why Is My anding Page Quality Poor According to Adwords

Hi guys,

I have a campaign with a landing page that has good keyword relevance, good load time according to google adwords but my landing page quality is poor and therefore they are giving me a 4/10 score.

My landing page has a privacy page, disclaimer page and over 400 words of text on it. The weird thing is that I have another website that is setup on a brand new adwords account that only has a video and 6 bullet points on it get a 7/10 score.

Maybe I should move this campaign to a brand new account as well?

I don't understand this. Any ideas?

Cheers

Double check your keywords. I recently made a mistake and all my keywords were the word "broad" (my match type). It probably is not your landing page; it sounds fine.

Double check your adwords account. You might find something there. Just an idea.

Zero in on the on page keyword usage rate on the landing page (KW density)...are you naturally using the primary KW term about 4-6% of words on page? If your KW list is too big consider making more new landing pages that are more targeted to the KWs you are bidding on.

Ideally just a few KW are in an AdGroup to have Ads be as targeted as possible, and the landing pages be as targeted as possible. When you have 30-50 KW in an adgroup you really dilute down your quality score. You cannot be using 30-50 KWs in the landing page and in the ad, so your click thrus will suffer.

Even for adwords (in addition to good SEO practices) you want KW in the title of the page, in H1 headlines, in bold text, at the beginning of the page...but all natural and within non spammy text no more than 6% your KW phrase.
