Where to find a good SEO manager?

Hi all,

I have two websites which I've been working on for the last couple of years, more of a hobby as opposed to anything serious.

However, I'd really like to start promoting them and doing some SEO work on them - the problem is, I'm clueles at SEO, and don't really have the time.

I had a look at the WFH section, but I'm really sceptical whether any of the providers will actually benefit me - I have heard it's all about just being natural these days, as opposed to buying backlinks etc, but I could be totally wrong hence why I'm reaching out for help

Does anyone know where I should be looking to find someone who's actually got good results and won't just rip me off?

    You can do one thing and that would be to look for freelancers who will do your work at a low price at sites like Upwork and Guru. You can check their portfolio to be 100% sure on that they could do your work or not.

    Freelancing websites such as upwork.com and freelancer.com are the best place to find SEO experts. Other than that, you may just Google things like 'SEO specialist', 'SEO manager' etc. Or just ask your friends to refer some quality SEO consultant/manager.

      Yes, just look in the freelancing websites you will get better one from there because there are genuine professionals who are working on various projects from home only. Just goo through there profile and hire one who is suitable according to your requirement.

    The best option would be to learn about SEO yourself, so you really know how it works.

    A lot of people selling SEO services, don't really know what they are doing, to be honest.

    Another option would be to use pay-for-results SEO services. If you make it clear that what you want is long-term results, and will pay for that, then it is in their interest to do what really works. I did see someone recommending one of those, recently, so some people do get results with them (I've not tried them myself yet).
