    For keywords, go for something people would be looking up if they were truly interested in buying.. For example "[Product] Review" would be a good one. Why? Cause when people are looking up reviews it usually means they are considering a purchase.. "[Product] Coupon Code" might be another good one, if you actually have a working promo code for the item(s)...

    As for backlinks.. There are some cheap and free ways.. Looking into setting up a private blog network (PBN). You can do that by using web 2.0 sites like Wordpress, Tumblr, BlogSpot..etc. Otherwise, you could look at buying links or setting up your own expired domains instead. This would probably be the more optimum way to do it because your links would likely have more juice on them.
