I recently start to get traffic via youtube video. However, I do not know the best way to rank my video top though I know some tricks to put it on top 10 or 9.
Where can I put backlink for it for example? Can anyone tell me ?

Thanks a million.

    Hi,
There are a number of SEO strategies you can use to get your video ranked higher in YouTube. Have you tried the following:

    * Prior to uploading your video, change the name of the video to include _ in the file name. Then when you upload the video, simply delete the _ from the video title.
    * Prior to uploading your video, go into the properties section of the video file and complete all the information in this section.
    * Once uploaded to video, ensure you write a good description, which also includes the video title and a URL link to whatever you are promoting.
    * The jury is out re tags and tags stuffing. Some say use as many tags as YouTube will allow; others say use a maximum of 3-5 tags only. Hence, test this for yourself and see what works best for you.
    * Ensure whilst uploading the video you complete all the information including location of the video.
    * Another strategy I've heard which I have as yet to fully test for myself is that you create different channels under your main channel for the various products/services. Hence one login only. Go to settings and then add a channel. Once you have uploaded the videos to the various channel, click like for each one (using a different channel than what the video is uploaded to; as people don't like to be the first to like a video or whatever.
    * Another strategy is to write an article or blog post and include the URL of your YouTube video or Channel and this will assist in obtaining organic backlinks for your videos.
    * You could also research YouTube videos in your niche to ascertain whether they have a URL in their video descriptions. If not, you can approach the owner of the video and offer to pay a small fee to have your URL inserted into the description. (Must have a higher ratio i.e. 50K views to make this worthwhile) May be your website or product URL rather than in direct competition with your YouTube video or alternately find a complimentary niche to your niche and ask to include your YouTube video URL in the description, if they don't have a URL included.

Anyway, hope these strategies assist you. Would be interested in hearing the various strategies you use currently and whether what I've suggested will compliment your current efforts.

        Hi,
Sure. Right click on the file name and then click properties. Then click on "Details" and complete the various sections; including sub title, description, origin sections etc.

Apologies for the delay in responding.

        Hope this assists.

You can use these techniques before uploading your video :

    1. Keyword Research : Focus on multiple long tail Keywords in the video.
2.Video Title : Use the keyword list to make the title.
3.Video Description : The description should contain all your keywords.
4.Video Tags : Tags are another important way to get ranking in YouTube search.
5.Naming your video file before upload.
6.Build Links and Embed : If you create the right links, your video YouTube Rank for whatever keywords you want. If you build the wrong links, your video will get flagged as spam and removed.
