Does a 70% reduction in bounce rate mean rankings will improve?

Hi guys.
I recently got my site's bounce rate down by 70%.
I've been doing quite a few things to optimise it, but I was wondering if anyone else has seen positive ranking effects from reducing their bounce rate.

Here is a link to the case study where I reduced the bounce rate.
7 on-site changes that reduced my site's bounce rate by 70% in 1 month. (Case Study)
I am seeing more keywords appearing, but I cannot say conclusively if it is a result of these actions.

If anyone else has experience with this, it would be great to know.

Thanks.

Bounce rate has nothing to do with rankings. Bounce rate is not always a bad thing.

If I have an affiliate link on my landing page, I want the visitor to click that link, not browse around to other pages on my site. If they do, that is a bounce, but they did exactly what I wanted them to do.

Even search and click traffic does nothing to rankings..
