If you want specific help like description recommendations you are going to have to share the URL.

Also, if your video is targeting an English speaking marketing and your description reads like this post, you are in trouble. Find yourself a better translation software or someone who speaks better english to write your stuff.

  • What I like about Youtube is you can get aggressive with the onpage and off page SEO without getting penalized (In Most cases). You still need to follow best practices but all in all it's generally a lot easier to rank a youtube video for longer tail keywords then a webpage with no authority.

For Youtube specifically I'd recommend TubeBuddy for help with coming up with tags that you should be using. It's a paid service but rather cheap and can really help give you insight into what tags to add into your video and from that you can work your descriptions.

I'd also segment your videos into playlists and link to the previous and next video as well as the playlist to help build a silo effect.

I've built out a few channels over the years and just started focuses on another here in the past few months. You can kind of see how I'm doing things at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCsf...cjZBY2LX1eSm9A

I have 3 playlists going now. Adwords Search Training, Adwords Display Training and my third is small business advice for digital marketing for a live hangout I do every Wednesday at 2PM CST.

Only time will tell if things will pay off but I do this more as my give back then anything else.

How long have you been optimizing it, I don't think it will happen in an instant or I don't think the title and the description is optimized enough to rank on the result page. I hope you don't mind sharing the video? BTW, are you targeting locally or globally? Because there are also some instances that the video is being blocked depending on a country accessing the video.

Use something like vidiq or tubebuddy, check out your competitor's stats.

Usually only 0.2% of the viewers engage with your content. Does your 1st competitor has 10.000 views and 200 likes? Then try to replicate the same thing without going nuts.

Retention views play a great role too. Videos over 10 minutes with as better % watch time as possible will rank higher in the youtube results.

    Hope this helps.

Insert your keyword or its variation in your title and description. Use the search based keyword tool and look for your target niche keyword that has low in competition and high in search volume. It is also a nice idea to promote your video in social media. Share it your FB timeline and to your FB pageas well as in twitter.
