How do i find out if my domain was blacklisted by google

How do i check to see if my domain was blacklisted (flagged) by google in the pass, before i purchased the domain. will godaddy sell a domain name that was blacklisted by pervious owner, the domain is chiclubwear. If somebody have resources to run a check, let me know.

    you can check in Google: site:chiclubwear.com if only your new post are there there was nothing before or blacklisted. Was there something before: Check this at waybackmachine.org

      Ok thanks i checked waybackmachine.org and came back with some useful info, my domain was on the expired list 3 times.

    If you write the domain name in google, does it show anything? I mean, if it was blacklisted in the past but now it's ok, will it matter to you?
    I may sound a little ignorant on the subject, that's because I AM... Never dealt with this before...

      Yes it matter, if my domain was blacklisted by google in the pass by a pervious owner, because it's hard to rank a domain that was flagged for seo black hat tricks.

    Really it doesn't matter considering the site is indexed on Google SERPs right now.

    As always, test the domain to see If you can rank extremely weak keywords, even fake keywords, example, waffle unicorn jackwagon battery pill. The whole point of testing the fake keyword is to remove all possibilities of SERP competition. If you can't rank a page for a fake keyword something is obviously wrong with the domain.

    Next move on to legit low competition keywords, they should rank without much effort.

    Next time look at Wayback before buying a domain, that can usually give you an idea If the previous domain owner abused the site (spammy).

    Look at the established backlink profile anchor-text to see If it's obvious spam keywords.

    Example:
    • louis vuitton handbags
    • buy viagra
    • etc...


    Also look at the backlink pages, are there 10s/100s of spammy looking backlinks? If so that's a red flag.
