I don't know about the pricing, but that strategy is lousy if you are planning on actually ranking anything.

        Seriously?

You're selling backlinks (WF forum sig) yet you don't know that you'll need followed links on the backlink page/s link profile/s?

Do you think just because you're building a 2.0 webpage it automatically has authority? Wrong, it doesn't and it will never rank a page for any decent traffic keyword.

Maybe my mileage is different but i still use web 2.0's to pbn's and they still work fine. I also do this for my local clients and they work well. It's not the web2.0 that is the problem, it's the content on the sites. They still work you just have to know how to do them. As far as your web 2.0 freelancer, if he takes an hour to build one web2.0 then he is wasting time. I can build, setup and put out content for about 4 an hour. and thats if i take time to go to the bathroom and drink. lol

yes , I am agree with you . That web 2.0 still works but must be maintained quality . My link builder is taking content from english websites and translating those articles into Spanish language using google translator and posting those to web 2.0 for building backlinks . Whats your opinion about this procedure .

Content has nothing to do with it. A web 2.0 is most of the time a new page that has no links and next to no juice. You are ranking in spanish serps that are dead weak and the minute anyone in any competitive niche buys that weak service they will flop in trying to rank

Also anytime anyone else comes into those niches with real links they will wipe you out as well

Hey thanks for commenting here , I have seen Somoe fiverr gig that are using this strategy ,They are making some unique web2.0 articles ( almost 10 or 15 ) and using auto bookmarking soft to transfer link juice and also geeting good feedback on this marketplace (fiverr.com) If this strategy does't work then why they are getting so good feedback ..
                  Example https://www.fiverr.com/yesrams/link-...-rss-fees-ping

They are getting good feedback because the customers are morons.

All you can really give feedback on is whether or not the work was done. You cannot come back six months later and leave another review saying how your ranking never improved. You only have an opportunity on Fiverr to leave feedback when the job is finished.

If you think you are going to get anything SEO-wise done that is at all worthwhile for $5, you are dreaming.

I looked through a hundred positive reviews and didn't see anyone say anything about rankings. I looked through 50 negative reviews and several said the links either did nothing or actually tanked their rankings (penguin like penalty for spammy links)

The other complaints were for links not showing which is pretty common and understandable. Most web 2.0 sites clean their sites regularly for spammy links or profiles that have no activity.

think my man - most web 2.0 sites have no incoming links and neither do bookmarking websites backing them up. its all just junk and if you think your VA at $3 an hour is putting up great content on those sites that the Web 2.0 sites can't smell out as spam you are just kidding yourself.

Thats a load of nonsense. as if there is some magical way to use web 2.0s that no one else knows.

You put content on them and place a link/links just like everyone else. without even looking i know with that strategy you rank for only weak serps with little or no competition.

Goodness people - the time you spend doing SEO from the 90s you could even buy some cheap expired domains and get more authority. Web 2.0s have almost no juice of their own.

Hello Myonlinejourny, this web 2.0 strategy used to work back in 2012, but these days it doesn't. Have you seen today any web 2.0 in your webmaster tools search console? I have not and I have a lot of clients. And if they force me I do this web 2.0 link building think for they. But I hate to do the same mistakes with all new clients again! Web 2.0 is dead.

Pathetic, selling links and can't even comprehend basic SEO (followed authority links).

Now fiverr enters the thread. FAIL!.
