Hi all,

We want to rank higher in Google with our one page / single page website aneto.nl

But is it actually possible? It's all about this part of the website; aneto.nl/#1132/1 Because of the keyword 'Software development'.

Also this has been created: aneto.nl/diensten/software-development (same content as aneto.nl/#1132/1).
So it's possible to do linkbuilding to that specific URL and get it high ranked in Google. But is it gonna work? Except the duplicate content right now.

Hope to year from you soon guys.
Thanks in advance!

It is possible to rank 1 page sites.

Why would you have the same content @ aneto.nl/diensten/software-development as you have in the section? Doesn't make sense.

I think you would have been better with individual pages for some of the content, seems like a very large single page.

Honestly I would rethink the on page before you do anything.

The first url is awful. Yes you can rank a one page site but the architecture SEO wise has to be better. the second is what you are looking for by way of URL. It as a clean Url that allows incoming naked urls to link with some keyword relevance.

All in all it needs some work. There are one page sites that work but I am not even sure this should be a one page site. Ditch the numeric link urls. They are (no good for SEO) to begin with and bring back the scroll bars, Thats just to start because SEO wise the page has other issues as well

You can rank a one page website, but not for that.

Even if you did, which is a next to impossible if, your potential customers would surf out.

One page websites are great for such thing as online alarm clocks.

One page meaning one page, plus contact, privacy, etc.

    Software development would never fly.

But then, you do not have a one page website. Which is a sigh of relief.

    Something is lost in translation.

Numbers are fine in urls provided they exist all the time, and not created on the fly.
    # is a sign that they might be created on the fly. In other words, the page does not exist as a page, for all intents and purposes.

I have not worked with that in about 7-8 years.

Sort of like how youtube video pages are created.

You need real pages, descriptive pages.

They pretty much do. the navigation links at the top are mostly leading to anchor spots on the same page. Look closer

No Paul. In the 21st century there is no good reason to have numbers in the url of text based pages. Its bad semantically for SEO and link building. Much better to have clean urls in modern SEO

Can. One page SEO is possible, but with the effort of daily working through the strategies in it.

You can rank any keyword in Google it's simple? Not really first you need to check your compititore on that keyword and find his stretgy and than you have to do best and ask a question like does your keyword really deserved to rank in Google?
