Also on a side note, there is another website in a similar niche which I notice has been copying my articles... is there anything I can do to stop that?

You're setting yourself up to get scammed.

The junk backlink sellers on this forum will be all over you and destroy your backlink profile.

don't waste your valuable money on hiring a SEO
Its damn simple by following some rules,While some people make it lengthy for there profit .
I really hate those people long un-understandalble guide.Filled with affliated links
Just Follow some rules:
1.original content
2.put your main keyword on h1 & h2 ,widget title ,everywhere on site
3.make some high quality links
4.here high quality means make a free website on wordpress,put you anchor text pointing towards you main site .and then make some backlinks toward free website on some social media,comments and what can you do

It's all original
I spread the keyword
I just started to get the visitors so i've had offers for links
I have a few websites relative to my niche which I also run that link back to my site .. I just see 4-5 comments a day of how much people like my blog, and i'm not gettin ranked... I really don't have time to figure it all out.

I've kind of done these rules. My domain authority and page authority is 1, but i'm not ranked in 10 pages of google... I'm really looking for monetization advice and help

I think there's valuable advice here and I agree hiring SEO isn't necessary if you have the skills and are prepared to make the effort but some don't have the time or the knowledge. Originality is key and relevance to the topic. It's better to create articles that focus on one keyword or phrase and deliver quality information about that topic or aspect than trying to shoe horn your whole keyword list into an article or post. At code level you need to streamline your style sheets so they aren't full of crap. It helps. That is specialised stuff and can make a difference. If you don't have budget keep your posts concise. Caption your photos. Above all do quality work. Post often. Be passionate about what you do or don't bother. There's so much bullshit online that quality can always find find eyeballs if you set it up right but it's a hungry beast this www you gotta feed it... My two cents... #seo #company #hiring

Friend Not All about on-page SEO .You have to Optimaze you site for off page SEO
back backlinks as you can
share on social media as you can
get 1000 paigviews on each page and post

Just saw your post in the main section similar to this

anyway based on that post I don't think you need a SEO on any consistent basis. From that post it seems you have link contacts of your own and good ones.

So definitely skip anyone here who offers links as its most likely to be spammy links, PBNs etc. Monetization really comes down to the site and niche. Some people think certain sites can't be monetized but all kinds of sites can be monetized with a little creativity.

This forum has always been source of good info. I've just joined. It's often helped me answer a question. That was my first post

Jumping on me is sign of the desire to find fault. Part of the charm of warrior forum. SEO is technical as well as an art IMHO. I like helping people communicate their message as long as they are passionate about it and what they are selling is real and has integrity. I think the more we focus on inclusive helpful commentary the better, mind you without criticism nothing moves forward.

SEO is a continually evolving cyberscape (think i just made up a word) I find it really interesting. You can ignore the code level stuff and still kick goals. If you have energy, passion, knowledge of your topic Etc... Excellent content will always find it's audience as long as you keep it up. Where most fail is they post a magnum opus and stop, then wonder. Working with pros can help, it's not about money, it's about making stuff happen efficaciously. Again, IMHO.

Sometimes, you hire an SEO company, who charges you too much for nothing. be aware of them.
they give your project charge to junior SEO worker. and you get a high spammy score.
try to work with networking process. try to make friends and write for them and get slow steady work.

I would say this if you are running a business and doing all the things it takes to run a business then maybe hiring an seo guy or company maybe the way to go, it takes alot of time and yes it takes money. If this is just a hobby or something you just play around with then keep doing it all on your own, which is fine and can give you great results.

The best websites run are successful with a variety of people in positions doing what they know best. I heard a quote once and it said "Mind your business" meaning do what you do best and don't worry about that task if its not your cup of tea. But maybe SEO is your thing.
