Hello folks,

So I have a website, a product to sell and need to start the SEO process.

I have been reading alot of SEO stuff online and need to start with the basics so bear with me please.

My website is complete and ready to sell and need to start the SEO process with keywords. I have been working on keywords for my product several ways but the question is what do I do with the keywords?

1. do I add those keywords on my site pages wherever I can or how to do it?
2. once the keywords are added to site. as I think I have to do it. I plan on using GSA engine ranker to do backlinks so would I use the keywords I research on my product and that I placed on my site and use them as the keywords in GAS program?

Again I am new and have read so much but trying to make sure I am understanding the process

Thanks again
Bret

If you're going to run GSA directly to your site, you might as well throw your site away. Look up for some services provided on the "Warriors For Hire" section here and look for diversity packages.

It is important to check with the on-page of your website and then start with the off-page optimization which includes link building etc.

GSA is the good option. But before you can start to do that, do some guest posting service and get link diversity on GSA tool. I think that's the better way for you. Just try it...

I think you need to focus on Keyword research. As you have written that you had read too many stuff about SEO, you will also heard about Google keyword planner.
Use this Google keyword research tool for keywords which have lower competition and higher search volume. Find the relevant keywords and make a list of primary and secondary keywords.
Use relevant keywords and do not repeat it for all pages.
You can also check online sources on how to do keyword research. Moz's beginner guide will help you in that.
All the best for your future work.

Forget about GSA! You need to spend HOURS (if not DAYS) to learn how to use GSA! If you try using it now, it's the same as throwing your website out there... I would go with web2.0 sites, forum signature building, etc... Meanwhile learn GSA and then build backlinks to those web2.0 sites (or even Tier3+ links!)

    1. There are some huge on page SEO Guides available online - you should search, find and follow one.
    2. It's of course up to you, but I would 100% advise not to use GSA. You will most likely waste your money buying the software and have to fork out $10 to buy a new domain.

    Good Luck

NOOOOOO! You are reading the wrong things online. You have a real product (pretty cool too) and you are reading SEO that is used by affiliate marketers, Adsense and MMO. The guys that use that do not care if they tank their site. They just go build another one - where as your domain name and product needs to build a real brand and cannot just start over when you get your site penalized by google.

Skip mass link spam tools, skip PBNs, skip 90% of the crap you see on WF and Black hat forums. Don't buy ANY of the packages in the for hire section. They are almost all black hat.

I've been telling business people who have come here for years. -Companies with real businesses and real products to sell cannot approach their site's SEO like affiliate marketers who put their sites up in a few hours. That model is built on disposability and mass production of "money sites". They can get penalized and be back up and running a new site in a week. You and your brand name domain name will be toast and if penalized for link spam will totally DISAPPEAR from Google for a LONG time (if not forever)..

You should be concentrating with a product like that on White hat link building - which is reaching out to webmasters. Maybe even buying links on a few sites that have traffic as well as SEO benefit ( technically black hat but google can't sniff out money involved behind the scenes of a link transaction) and building yur brand through social media and outreach.

Again I am new and have read so much but trying to make sure I am understanding the process

    Thanks again
    Bret
Nothing wrong with being new - just know when you read that there are three different kids of SEO

    Black hat
    Grey hat
    White hat

Black hat is no good for a business that has a long term goal and wishes to build a brand
Grey hat is some what dangerous
and white hat is the safest and has the added benefit of bringing real traffic through the links that often are placed in places people read and will visit the site after reading.

Once you know the level of risk you wish to take THEN read and ask yourself if what you are reading involves of the webmaster placing the link or you or a bot/software doing it

    Thats black hat.

If the webmaster of a real site (not one just made for placing links on it like a PBN) places the links thats usually white hat (or paid but to google the same as white hat if done right).

P.S. your product looks good and does not have that clip on look. Guys generally hate ties ad tying them so you are on to something. It would just be a total waste of a good idea to blow it all up on black hat link building

Very annoying to most SEO professionals. People like this have muddied up the entire profession.

Most of the startups want a quick rank on the search engines and for this they start making tens and thousands of backlinks which are no use. Bad quality backlinks can lower the rank of your website and could penalize you after sometime. It's better to focus on the ON Page of your website and to rectify the errors from it till you are not ready to start your OFF Page. Without proper ON Page, no one can rank their website in Google. It's must to have as per the Google algorithms and its protocols.

You should focus on building backlinks which are dofollow, on domains with high DA
(Domain Authority), pages with high PA (Page Authority), TF (Trust Flow) and CF (Citation Flow). Those are some metrics to use when evaluating the quality of backlinks.

The backlinks will be even more powerful if they are contextual (surrounded by test
that is related to your niche) and relevant to your site.

I recommend learning the most you can about SEO before you purchase and use any
backlink automation tool. Such tools do work, however, you must know how to use
them properly for them to be effective.

Yes you can hire a freelancer from Warriors for hire or you can check marketplaces like Fiverr to hire someone for your SEO tasks. I usually would suggest you fiverr because I had done so many seo works from Fiverr and the feedback was good.

    1) You should have your keywords in the title tag of your homepage and for the content that you create. You also need to have your main keywords throughout your content, and it is also important to include LSI keywords. Here's a website that can help you set up your meta tags: Examples of how to make Meta tags | create good meta tags - meta tag example | meta tags search engine promotion

    2) Yes, you would use the keywords that you want to rank for. The keyword would be used as anchor text for the link. However, it is important that you use a variation of anchor text for your backlinks. This will help avoid over optimization filters.

Wanting to get your website rank on search engines is not all about link building, this technique can be dangerous as you may end up creating spam links. You need to consider all other aspects and not dwell on link building alone. Check your website's on page and off page factor. Your website's URL, navigation labels, call to action buttons, meta title and descriptions, headings, internal and external links, content, etc.

Keyword is an important factor when optimizing your website, take note that you must be able to use semantically related keywords in order to have variation and avoid being penalized by google.

I hope you know how to use GSA properly, because if you don't you could really hurt your website. I would recommend other ways:

    - First off make sure your On-Page SEO is on point. It is really important
    - For backlinks you could do guest blogging, and PBNs from Trusted sites like Source Market.

    Hope this helps!

Stay away from GSA. GSA is good only for bulding Tier 2 or 3 backlinks. Its not about the quantity remember - its about the quality and relevancy.

GSA will penalize your site if you are using it to build Tier 1 links. Instead use it to boost up tier 1 links

  • I would suggest to do a better on-page optimization before proceeding with the off-page activities, believe me when I say this that what you do on-page matter the most because if you follow all the google parameters correctly and perform an audit from an SEO expert then your website whether new or old will definitely rank given that the content that you post on your website is unique and non plagiarized.
After this, comes the off-page activities, one thing to remember is never perform too many off-page activities in a day otherwise it would be constituted as spamming. 1-2 free/reciprocal directory submissions, 1-2 social bookmarking/sharing, an article, a blog, few guest post from genuine accounts, engaging in forums, etc are some of the daily off-page activities which should be performed for a new website.

    3) Map that keywords in various pages as needed and try to optimize your keywords through.

    4) Optimize your keywords in the title tags, title description, heading tags, contents and as well as image alter text.

    5) after doing this try to make proper internal linking structure. so user can easily navigate through one page to another very easily

You should not use GSA for your money site, just use it for tier 2 or tier 3 sites. Howver in order to promote your website and to increase traffic, I would suggest you to use SEO, I think at first you need to learn from many famous and largest websites about SEO such as: Searchengineland, Searchenginewatch, Searchenginejournal, Moz,...they're all giving free basic SEO techniques that you can follow and practice. After that, you should apply these techniques on your own website with your domain and hosting, try your best to practical daily as much as possible.

I believe that you can get the archive after some months you try hard.

    Good luck to you,
