Is this a Sandbox, or Google Dance?

I am still learning what these things mean so be nice, OK?

I have a new domain, about 3 weeks old. I put Wordpress on it and a couple of posts. It Indexed on Google about a week and a half ago. Today I do the "mydomain.com" in Google and it's not there.

So what is your take on this?

    Google dance, i'd assume.

I wouldn't see any reason for you to get sandboxed.

It usually takes around a month, atleast for my sites, to settle down with the big G.

P.S- Unless you've done aggressive backlinking, or some ninja blackhat techniques, you have no need to worry about getting sandboxed.

Don't worry about dances or sandboxes. Just do your thing ... adding content on regular basis and getting backlinks. You will be fine.

What radhika said. Do that and you won't need to worry about the sandbox.

Time spent checking your Google ratings is time wasted. Just add content, wait for people to start finding you in searches, then hammer those words.

and it may be back tomorrow ... I wouldn't worry about it too much. Just plug away on your blog, let it grow naturally and google will find it.

Google dancin' a jig. Don't stress. Keep plugging away. It even happens to older sites when you build links a lot. Trust me.

3 weeks is very short in "internet time". Don't stress, keep plugging away like the others say. You're just dancin'.

Yep, it's probably just the dance.

Two of my sites - which I did a fair bit of social bookmarking for - disappeared from the rankings after getting to page 1 (for a micro niche).

A few days later, though, and they werer back.

I thought, after getting de-indexed (site:.... shown nothing) I may have been penalised. But sure enough I was back, without any trouble.

Seems like most people vote for Google dance I think so too!

Nevertheless, you should keep building high quality high PR links to your site to get "trust" rank before your site can really gain much further ranking for more competitive keywords...

Keep your post slow and building high PR links for another 1 ~ 2 months, your site should rank quite well

You dont need to worry too much about, you site should come back on pretty soon and if you focus keep on building high PR quality backlinks, your site will come back stronger when it eventually appears again. Good Luck

    Congratulation!

Just a classic dance, especially when a spike of back links come to your site!
