Hey! I had a question. I'm developing categories for a website e.g. red widgets, blue widgets, white widgets. And I am going to assign the appropriate articles to each category. But in terms of SEO, is it better to show a snippet of the article post or the entire post?

So in other words, if someone clicks on a category, they will either see the snippet of each article posted or the entire post.

So should I show a snippet or the entire post?
#entire #post #show #snippet

Snippet. If you show the entire post, you have a page filled with 100% duplicate content.

you have to use small summery of your post in snippest that will leave the great impact for user as well as Search Engine that will also improve your CTR. Don't use whole content in snippest

Besides the advantage of avoiding duplicate content, the summary or post snippet also allows your reader to skim your topics and click to read the one that interest them. If you have longer post and perhaps with images/video, by showing just snippet, it helps in terms of page loading speed.

I believe that snippets would work best in terms of SEO, you just have to make sure that you are using appropriate snippet or summary showing in your site for people to read it. The content needs to be enticing for someone to be absolutely set on clicking on it and reading further.

Snippet would be a better choice. If it's a grasping read, then surely the visitor might read-up the entire post. Otherwise, it is better for them to move on and check out other posts! It is easy for the visitor to get an idea about the blog with the snippets.
