Adsense and Domain Info Precautions Help

I do not have an adsense account yet. I have a few brand new domains which I realize cannot be used for adsense for 6 months therefore I will purchase a few aged domains and put adsense ads on them right away.
I can only receive payment via bank transfer from them. I was wondering what precautions I should take with my new account.

1. Should I research adsense track record/history of the aged domain I wish to purchase before hand?

2. If domain registration info is public for the particular domain, does this need to match the name the adsense account info/name/address etc? After I purchase the domain I will ofcourse update whois info incase it is public. Should I just wait a few days to uptate info over the web before i open the Adsense account?

3. Once payment info for the Adsense account is added can it be changed to receive payment in another country bank account? Can the recipient name also be changed without concern?

4. I am currently in Brazil and I plan to open a US or Canadian bank account from here. Will I need to supply SSN to get approved or can non us people receive funds in US bank accounts or anyother country for that matter?

Thank you in advance for any and all answers.

Peter, are you targeting profitable keywords with low competition with proper onpage SEO?

So many people using Adsense and no one wants to answer my questions? Are these secret questions or dumb ones?

          Hi zanbrok,

Probably the easiest way for someone to get approved quickly for an AdSense account is by setting up a blogger.com account. spend a week or two posting a least once every couple of days and then apply for an AdSense account through blogger. As long as you make quality posts you should not have problems getting approved.

Once you have your account approved you can setup ads on all of your brand new websites regardless of age. Don't worry about payment info, you won't need it until you have received your post card from Google (after you have earned your first $50.00).

          @peter,

Have you logged into your account to see if you are getting impressions? If you haven't earned a single dime in a year then you definitely have some sort of problem, I would suspect that you code snippet has not been properly added to your website. Depending on your traffic, you may have missed out on thousands of dollars in the span of a year.

      Thanks guys.

dburk, So once i receive this postcard from google does the payment info have to match the name the domain is registered in? I would assume not but should I plan this out just in case?

I just purchased 2 aged domains today which are indexed and I think at least one had adsense on it. Can this help me in anyway? Should I apply for an account with this domain? Since they have a record of the domain belonging to another account is this cause problems/complications? Will I need to provide proof of purchase, domain transfer etc to them?

      Thanks

        Hi zanbrok,

I believe the purpose of the postcard is to verify that your mailing address matches the address you have listed in your AdSense account. There is a unique key code that you must enter to authenticate your mailing address. You must be able to confirm your residencing and complete any required taxpayer identification forms before you will receive your first payment. It's not required at the time your open your account, just before the first payment will be sent.

I don't believe that your domain registration must match your AdSense account information but it could be one of the factors in the account approval process. You must supply a completed website that they will evaluate and approve before opening your AdSense account.

          thanks dburk,

Will they ask for proof of address in the way of a phone bill, etc in the name of the account?

I believe the point of the post card is test the validity of your mailing address. If you never receive that postcard you won't be able to complete the validation of your address. They will never send you a payment until you have complied with all verifications. Your checks will be mailed to that same verified address.

I was never asked for anything beyond the postcard verification and taxpayer identification. That was a while ago so there could be new requirements added over the past few years.

I put adsense on my domain when it was 2 weeks old. The 6 month rule may be in effect for non-US residents, but otherwise maybe you should try adding it to one of your domains to see what happens before you buy a bunch of other domains.
