Branded vs Non-Branded Mix

Does anyone have any benchmarks into the successful SEO mix that should be expected from eCommerce platform in terms of branded vs non-branded from organic search?
I've done some extensive searching and don't seem to have found anything useful on the topic.
I have had some 3rd party information from a large travel site which receives roughly 50/50 split between branded and non-branded, but don't know if this applies outside of Travel market which is predominately pure-play.
I'm particularly interested in how other fashion eCommerce sites see their mix, particularly those with physical stores too, but would expect other industries to be similar.
