I created a new website 10 days ago, in the first week i acheived nearly 197 visitors per day, i did not use any backlinks. Just applied Yoast SEO and teachnics of writing. but i tried to optimize my web pages speed and now i acheived 86%. But, in the last 3 days, my visitors number decreased even if i post at least 8 posts a day. i feel as if something wrong is happening? any help in that case?

Are the visitors coming from organic search or its referral or Social traffic.

There may be many reasons. Test your site, content, backlinks profiles, referral traffics source, organic keyword position, rankings, impression, CTR, meta description all effects on Google rankings and indexing.

If you have that much of a difference in Google Traffic, you may be right that it is the Penguin Update. It's time line is about right, and your results sound like that's the case. There are several methods you can try to fix that including keeping up with what you are doing, or go around it by attempting to get more traffic through Facebook, Twitter, and other social media. I also just updated my Hydrurga software for just this reason, to fix Google's Penguin changes that are destroying pages randomly now. Check it out to see if it'll help!

I would give it a bit more time to draw conclusions. Traffic is never a steady thing.

You mention you see a drop in traffic for 3 days. Give it at least a week more and see what happens
