Multilingual website: Different directories

Hey guys,
I have a website within the travel niche where the main domain (mydomain.com/lang) is based on Javascript and our blog/content part is based on WordPress (mydomain.com/blog/lang).
Can you see any risks with editing the order of lang-directories? I mean, on the main site it always looks like this;
mydomain.com/lang/destination
and on the wordpress-part (on the same domain) the order is like this;
mydomain.com/blog/lang/destination-information
So we have added the "blog"-directory to be able to implement the WP install to the website. If we should reverse the order to;
mydomain.com/lang/blog/destination-information
I guess we need three separate WP-installs for each language, which really isn't an option.
Hoping for some thoughts!
