How Google controls Keyword stuffing in Google Maps?

These days SEOs and local business owners are adding the popular keywords in their local business name in Google maps. So that when users search with query, they are coming into top listings, because key words are present in the title.

Earlier there no such importance to Google maps but now for any query it is showing the maps first, this made a big difference or change in SEO world. Everyone started adding key words into their business names, some business made their business as main keywords.

How Google can control this spam, keyword stuffing in Google maps?

    From what I noticed google also controls SEO in their maps to be totally in accordance to their latest algorythm updates, so you should avoid that keyword stuffing for sure!

      Yeah, people who do keyword stuffing in google maps, their location is not appearing in top listings, so their goal is wasted. It's good to see such algorithms but they need to be more stronger.
