SEO 2017 - What SEO Services, Fiverr Gigs and Link Building Strategies Have Worked For You?

There has been a lot of changes in the past one year and search algorithms are getting smarter each and every day, I've been working in SEO and link building for nearly 8 years, but now I think it's fair to say that traditional methods of building backlinks and getting sites ranked no longer work. I am currently focusing on keyword research, on site optimization and quality content across all my sites, which is working but not as well as I hoped it would.

It would be great if you can post SEO Services that you use currently, Fiverr gigs that have worked for you or any strategy that is still getting results in this thread, I'm sure it would help 100s of marketers in this forum and will help us all learn better.

Please try to avoid spam and self-promotion!

Dont use Fiverr for SEO please.
You will end up harming your site.

      Hi

I am aware of that, but there are a few sellers out there who sell really good stuff, especially now since they are no longer restricted to $5 gigs.

Fiverr currently has a few great gigs and new ones are coming up every other day, you can't afford to miss out on that.

      Regards

Thinking the exact same thing, I tried to use a service recently & found out the seller was scamming me (thus cancelled the gig ). I agree though at least some of them are bound to be worth taking. Would be nice to hear from someone with a positive experience.

from the testing I have done it is all about knowing your competition

if you don't know your competition you will find yourself competing for impossible keywords

look at any traffic stats that show you how many keywords were responsible for high traffic and you will see it numbers in the 1,000's

it is about being seen everywhere

the other factor I am seeing from the testing is user interactions on your web pages the longer users are on your webpages the better the rankings have been from the testing

these days it is about building authority sites, brands are dominating the SERPs because they are keeping the eyes on their sites longer than the typical IMer they know how to captivate from all the years of advertising and the human brain

so if your producing captivating content keep doing it this will eventually pay off if you can be found

from our testing we are suspecting AI(RankBrain) is responsible for changes this year

we saw Penguin become on going because of AI so it is not hard for Google to monitor user actions on websites real time and factoring this into rankings

so if your looking for a quick fix by buying services be very careful unless they can keep the eyes on your websites I feel this is the way of relevancy and not popularity(links) which can be skewed

human behavior is what is being monitored and no one knows your content better than you for producing the results you seek

Fiverr is usually full or rubbish, as is SEOclerk, but you do find the odd gem.

You need to find people who create great links, not just churn out the usual automated crap.

I think the point I would make is, if someon has found a cheap service that works, they ain't gonna post it here for others to eploit are they.

What you're asking is like the equivalent of..

"How do i lose weight fast, in a few days, with no exercise, no experience, no time, no money, no motivation, no discipline, while eating my McDonalds cancer food."

If such things ever existed.. we would all be either very rich..or very poor since everyone would doing it putting us at ground zero again.

The act of ranking has not really changed all that much since 8 years ago...Please share what has stopped working for you...

    - Quality relevant backlinks from other cool websites that aren't embarrassed to share your website with their viewers?

The only thing that stopped working is the quick fix backlinking stuff that wasn't really ever meant to be used but out of the box thinkers found flaws and punished the grand daddy for their mistakes.

You have the elite group who know exactly how to use the black magic and the plebs who dip their nose and get sliced up by the sharks.

Heres would i think would work for 2017 and beyond

-Make your start-up so great that VCs are begging to fund you.
-Take your start-up and have YC so impressed with you that they put you in their accelerator program.
    - Win..... or Lose.

    Option 2:

-Make your start-up so great that over the next 10 years you become a dominating authority in your well chosen niche.
    -Scale your niche.
    -Grow.
    -Win

    Option 3:
-Condense 10 years into 1 year of solid work and growth.
-Get noticed by big brands. (think uber for an example)
-Grow back link profile faster than above options.

If you have a solid product ..like uber..you'll do just fine without trying to manipulate.

PS: I feel like anyone who is actually on the right path already knows these things.. and its almost pointless for me to even attempt to type it out.

Fiverr in 2017 just shows you didn't learn your lesson in 2016.

It's easy to destroy a link profile with cheap gigs (ex: fiverr). It's not easy recovering from cheap link profiles.

I completely agree with you, over the last few months producing quality content and improving user experience has helped add great value to my sites. So I guess as time passes Google will move to its ultimate goal of giving its users the best possible content.

So the strategy is - 1) Identify low competition keywords with little to no relevant search results on 'Page 1' 2) Create a brilliant 1000 to 1500 word article with images and infographics 3) Ensure your focus keyword is mentioned in the title, URL, within the post and image alt tags 4) Wait & Watch!

Once you are ranked within page 5 to 10 of Google, you can use Fiverr gigs such as these to slowly improve your rankings - https://www.fiverr.com/crorkservice/...e-to-your-site

I've just used it once in the past, so can't really vouch for it!

Thats right, a majority of Fiverr gigs are useless and most of the reviews don't help you decide either, but Fiverr is trying its best to improve the quality of services offered! Its actually quite easy to come across some good quality gigs these days than it was before.

    Hi

Thanks for your reply, I agree with you, but backlinks don't work the way they used to in the past, you will need very high authority backlinks to see a difference in your SERPs.

Like I have already mentioned, there are a few good Fiverr gigs propping up these days, you won't get them for $5, but I think they are very much worth a try!

You're not buying SEO on fiverr.

Odds are the entire thread revolves around the fiverr gig link above.

Before you say that, please take a look at that Fiverr user. He is a top-rated seller with over 100,000 reviews and over a 1000 orders in queue across all his gigs at the moment, I don't think he requires any promotion from me.

I only posted that link because it was ranked on top for this category!

No offense but that really is an ignorant comment.

Fiverr traffic buying SEO gigs don't have a clue about SEO.

        The fiverr process...
        1. They buy a fiverr gig.
        2. They get a list of junk URLs.
        3. They leave a positive feedback because they think something good happened (MY GOD I HAVE 5,000 BACLINKS!!!).

        Silly.

In your previous post, you made a statement saying that this entire thread could be revolving around that particular gig! You were basically accusing me of trying to promote that particular gig using this thread, all I wanted to convey was that the particular seller gets 1000s of orders per day, so he really doesn't require my promotion!

I know that Fiverr reviews are absolutely meaningless and that most $5 Fiverr Gigs are crap, but ever since the extras were allowed and the $5 limits were removed, a lot of quality sellers have come up, many who can add great value to your sites!

Being a Local SEO fan, I think working on your citations is a really good start.

Using tools like BrightLocal, Moz Local, Whitespark, Yext can go a long way to helping you compete locally.

Working on reviews is another really important aspect for local, that can boost your overall SEO.

Citations for local search along with schema micro data really help, I have had a lot of success with this lately. I agree though that the website you are promoting has to have great content and be made well. No technical errors and be mobile friendly ..
SSL certificate makes a difference as well.
