Patch.com is a big website. However check from where your link is coming. Is it coming from the actual post sections or from the community section?

Yeah you should look into from where the link is coming from, You could also ask the seller to show you some sample links to be assured about it.

Dofollow matters most if they are from the relevant niche. e.g. if your website is related to news then a link back from patch.com can be beneficial.

Yes, as webdevpro mentioned, does local or national news have anything to do with your website? If so, I'm sure they can post there. Then again, I'm sure you can too. The site's About Us page actively asks people to contribute any articles that are relevant to the website.

Thanks... The only thing I'm afraid is the backlink would be removed after months. Then it would hurt my website...Have you used fiverr service before?

Generally speaking, Fiverr is absolute garbage for SEO purposes and the sellers there prey on ignorant and naive noobs who think that a $5 service will make their website #1 in Google. Their gigs are all smoke and mirrors and the quality of links used to be the way to do things in the pre-penguin era.

I would only use Fiverr for graphics and video creation but even then you have to sift through the cesspool of empty promises and unprofessional sellers who don't treat their gigs like a business.

In short, don't use Fiverr for SEO purposes.

First of all, a backlink that no longer exists cannot possibly 'hurt" your website. It just may not help it anymore.

Second, according to Google, no backlink can "hurt" your website anymore; bad ones just may not help. (We'll see how long that goes on before they change their mind.)

And no, I wouldn't think of using Fiverr to build backlinks.

I think those individual sites are fine, but I wouldn't expect miracles either.
