Stupid?? Question regarding META tags on HTML squeeze page

Hi there. I have probably what most of you would consider a stupid question about meta tags (keywords) on an HTML squeeze page.

Do I insert the keywords that are only on the squeeze page itself, or the keywords that I'm targeting through linking or both?

For instance, if the website with the squeeze page is about paralegal careers (that's the keyword), and I'm linking to the website from a blog about paralegal salaries, do I insert paralegal careers into the meta or paralegal careers and paralegal salaries?

I hope this makes sense

Also, is there a limit or a suggested amount of keywords that you should put into the meta keyword?

Thanks in advance!

Pretty sure I understand what you're asking. You are linking from a blog
about paralegal salaries to your squeeze page. The squeeze page and
associated site are about paralegal careers.

You are wondering what the anchor text should be for your link.

It should tell the person who reads your link what the content is about
after they click on the link. If you have different pages on your site and
each is optimized for a different keyword/phrase, then each link to each
of those pages will be for the topic of each particular page.

So your anchor text in your link should say something about paralegal
careers. Or it should just be 'paralegal careers.'
