I have been grabbing things here and there about quality score, I am sure there is lots more to know.

I know I should:

- Organise my keyword database
- Make sure I am using quality keywords
- Have keyword optimised landing pages and website pages
- Create and publish optimised ad copy
- Have pages that load quickly

What else am i missing?

Id appreciate your guidance on how else to ensure I achieve a high quality score on Google.

  • Quality score comprises of a lot of factors this includes on-page SEO, content, backlinks, domain age, PA & DA, among others. If you want to get a high-quality score or improve your quality score, then stick to white hat SEO and choose quality over quantity.

Keyword Quality Score has a major impact on both the success and the costs of your pay-per-click (PPC) marketing campaigns. High keyword Quality Scores mean you end up paying less for more ad exposure and higher conversion rates.

A Google Quality Score is a score assigned to your Google AdWords ad groups, based on a calculation of a keyword's relevance to its associated ad text, landing page and the user's search terms. A higher Google Quality Score leads to better ad placement (or ad ranking) at lower costs.

Aside from keyword relevance in quality score your bid in the keyword also affects your rank or ad placement in the search results.

    know your competition

quality score means nothing if you can't be found for the wrong keywords

you need to be found everywhere and if your trying to compete for impossible keywords then quality score means nothing

what we have found from our testing lately is user interactions once you are found, and from that we are noticing higher rankings if your users are staying on your sites longer you are ranking higher

key thing is testing, if you don't test you don't know and what ever advice you get from anyone who does not test and repeats what gurus put out there is just opinion from where I stand

I know that Quality Score has nothing to do with SEO and I have no idea why you posted this thread in an SEO subforum.

      Mike,

I think it has a lot to do with SEO, but you're probably more in the know where this thread is best placed.

Where should it be moved to?

QS has to do with AdWords, not SEO.
