    Google is like a God for the online business owners which helps them to attain a position in the search engine by showing their features in an effective manner. As Google algorithms updates frequently, it works as a spy for the websites where it checks the pages authenticity & the content which is uploaded in the website.

    When you first start SEO for your website, do remember that rectify the errors of your ON Page, as it is the base of a website without which it can't be able to rank in the search engine easily. Violating the rules of Google algorithms would impose a high penalty & could ban your site as well.

    Go for both onsite and offsite SEO. Link building is a great strategy but there are other means and measures as well. The most important factor is keyword research which you can do at Google Keyword Planner. Also make optimum use of bookmarking sites.

    In my opinion what is most important for Google right now as it was from the very beginning is trust.
    If your website, content, outbound links etc. have a great quality and make users trust your website than Google alos trust you. This is of course just a principle. However, keeping this in mind and working on a long term on creating quality will put everyone ahead in the SEO world.
    It is of course a lot of work to accomplish that. I also know that for those of you that have a client or work on a project or in a company. Long waiting time is not an option. It has to be quick and cheap. That is the reason why Google comes up every other month with an update.
    This is just my opinion. Not claiming to be a super SEO expert...just a beginner
