Another Niche/Keyword that am thinking about Starting a blog

Hey Warriors,

Am thinking about starting another blog with this keyword in mind "best job search sites". This blog will review all the job posting forums, freelance sites, employment agencies, job offers, job classifieds,etc on the internet. Am thinking about using this domain name: "thebestjobsearchsites.com"

I checked on google keywords tool and found the following information:

Keyword: best job search sites
Avg. monthly searches: 1K 10K
Competition: Low

I want to know if i can rank high for this keyword or any other keyword that is related to it within the shortest time possible and still make good money from google adsense and affiliate marketing. Many thanks on your anticipated advice.

    The low competition is for AdWords not SEO.

    How much does Google say it pays, on average, for a keyword? You're going to get a part of that.

    If a keyword pays, say, $1, you'll get probably somewhere between 0.35 and 0.65, depending on where the traffic is coming from.

    Can you rank and still be profitable? Don't know. What are your costs? Which keywords are you going for? How good are you at creating content that gets people to click on adsense ads?

    If you really want to make money, go into the insurance or mortgage areas, for some keywords, people pay Google over $100 per click. 35 to 35% of $140 is a hell of a lot more than 35 to 65% of $1.27.

      do you have any ideas? Can you propose a shorter domain name? What do you think about the niche? Is it good?

        Any domain name will work, from CLBB to MedusaEyed.com. Look into creating silos (Google that or search this forum: Yukon's got a few posts that explain silos for SEO quite well). Create silos using the right keyword in the url of pages, you can stop worrying about the home page ranking.

        Is it a good niche? It's not quite a niche. A niche would be: engineering job search sites or best job search sites for new graduates.

        But people are always looking for a job, so, it's an evergreen part of internet marketing.

        However, you're the only one who can tell if Adsense pays enough.
