    Best would be start yourself or if you are going to pick a agency then dont go for someone which will charge less since they will provide crappy results. But keep in mind that if the agency is charging more then its not sure that you would get best results Go for reviews. Ask them for previous clients and you could also communicate with the client to get best idea

    In the end I would again suggest instead of hiring a agency do that yourself.

    It's better to learn a little seo on your own first so you can know whats being done and why. The wrong SEO package can get you deindexed

    If I may ask - What is the reason you are looking/asking for a "link building company" instead of a SEO/SEM expert to handle your offpage content?
    When it comes to "building links" I would be cautious. But if you are looking for someone to handle offpage in general -Well, thats a hole other story.
    So I guess my question for you is; What are you associating with building links?

My theory is because this is one of those questions you can give a "blanket" gereralized answer too "Its better to learn it on your own" Somebody drop this man a link for what he asked for if you know the answer please.
