Hi Friends,

I had a website, but i have mistakenly deleted it from my domain provider account and they removed my account.

Now, I want to build a new website with my old website's content. For that, i need to delete all the indexed pages from the search engine.

My question here is, Could I use my Old Website's content after removing it from the search engine index. If it is possible then guide me how to delete all the indexed contents from the search engines.

If you had the site attached to a Google Analytics account.. just remove the sitemap.. the pages will disappear in a number of days

Stop crawling your xml sitemap page. Add this in your robots.txt file:

    Sitemap: https://www.glgaccounting.com/sitemap.xml

      Thanks Karen Barely,

Does hiding XML sitemap removes all the indexed content from the search engine??? How long it will take to remove the content.

Once your old content is de-indexed you can use it again. I did it for one of my sites that I wanted to combine the content with another one and I had no problems. I wasn't in any rush though and just let it de-index naturally after the domain expired.

The old site/pages will eventually be deindexed/removed from Google SERPs automatically considering those pages/site/host no longer exist.

Google needs to try and crawl those old pages which won't happen since they don't exist which in turn will get each old page deindexed form Google SERPs.

      Hi Yukon,

Thanks for your reply. I too agree with you, but it will take long time. So i'm asking for an instant way to de-index my indexed content.

Suggest me if you have any instant alternative solution.

Keep looking for an instant miracle or go do some work.

This should work faster, but it is a little labor intensive.

Put this in your .htaccess file:
    Code:
    Header set X-Robots-Tag "noindex, nofollow"
Then go to Google Webmaster tools and put in each url individually: https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/submit-url?

Once you tell it to go and look at your site, it will see the .htaccess file telling it not to index or follow and it should de-index within a few minutes.
