How to know the backlink is an quality one or not?

Hi Everyone

I was facing an trouble finding the quality backlinks. As I was new to this Blogging Industry i need to know wether a link form an website is quality or not? Does the rank of an website decides the quality of the backlink it provides. Is there any procedure to find the quality of link. Need help

    Link quality depends on DA, PA, size and uniqueness of content, Page Rank, relevancy of category, age of the website you are getting link from.

    Page Rank of a site (ahrefs metric) is based on the quality of backlinks to the page. In general you wanna get backlinks from a page with good backlinks (high PR).

    Run the PAGE the link will be on through majestic to get the Trust Flow and Citation Flow.
    Because of the penguin update, spam backlinks are harmful for your site. I don't check Trust Flow but I guess it's good if you have time. Backlinks from special Top Level Domains like .edu and .gov help a lot.

    Generally speaking, if you can place the link yourself, it's probably not a high quality link. If there is some sort of editorial process - the site decides to link to you on their own or they allow you to guest post on their website with a link to your site, it is a higher quality link.

    Like most things in life, if it's easy to get, it's not worth much.

    The quality of backlinks can be judged by viewing the rank of your website in search engines. If your backlinks are of high quality & coming from a high authority sites, then it will help you to gain the top position in the search engines quickly. But, if your ranking falls down then you can judge that your backlinks are of low quality. It will help you to realize that your backlinks are coming from low authority sites.
