Hello guys,

I am working on few niche blogs project and after proper keyword research I have found 4 to 5 authority blogs ranking on google #1 page for many keywords.

By checking them at ahrefs I came to know that because of authority they have got many natural backlinks from diversified sources.

Now my question is what should be my strategy to beat them?
I am a bit concerned about -

(1) type of backlinks (guest post, web 2.0, press release, forum, comments, bla bla)?
(2) Domain authority of backlinks source?
(3) social share on backlinks
(4) wiki, edu, gov backlinks
And your suggestions are welcome always

It is hard to know your keyword competition, therefore I can not give exactly answer.
You may use all of above backlinks, the content use for it must be at good quality. You must not use the poor content (by spinner software). If your keywords difficulty is hard, I would not recommend invest on it. You may try other keywords.

Regarding links, what you mention is what you need to go after. I would recommend sharing your blog posts to social media (the value of your content is important here) to gain "social signals", then embark on a content marketing campaign for each of your posts.

Your other option is to build one helleva solid PBN, which is both expensive + time consuming (don't believe anyone who tells you otherwise!) and has the risk of being caught. In my opinion SEO is all about risk as you're relying on another website (Google) for your traffic.

The only think you could probably do to beat them is to produce better more in-depth content than they do and then share it with all their backlink sources. If it's that good, then they will likely replace your competitor's content with yours - or link to you along with your competitor.

There's no answer to this. and Just via normal blackhat methods you cant rank if the authority websites are gaining natural backlinks.

Best would be to go with blogger outreach and gain backlinks organically instead of blackhat methods.

This is a very open-ended question.

Generally speaking, you should email other relevant authority sites with a domain authority of over 30 to link out to you, either by providing them with a free guest posts or by getting them to sponsor you.

You can also ask edu and gov resources to link out to your site - usually for free since they aren't really commercial.

However this is a really tedious process.

I know better content is very vast term here in SEO and I have many questions in my mind like keyword research, article length, answer solving articles intent and many more. But what do you want to tell us as best content specifically?

We are in the phase of blogger outreach too. But what I am experiencing is they dont care about us at all. what we need to do to make them accept our guest post proposal?

Don't focus too much on backlinks because Google is slowly declining the ranking signal of backlinks instead content improve its role in ranking metrics.
