There are far too many variables to answer this.

It depends on how much content is on the site, the keyword difficulty you are targeting, how effective your SEO is, how good your on page is.

    Hi Kamal,

Getting 100 organic visitors from Google totally depend upon what marketing efforts, brand building efforts you are putting in your tech websites. No one can say the numbers of the visitors that will visit your website as it depends on lots of factors. Study the analytics of the visitors coming from and work accordingly, work on low-tail keywords, backlinks and you can also take advantage of Social media to boost the traffic to your site.

100 visitors depend on what makes you are doing inside and outside of your blog
Try to make quality blog posts targeting long tail keywords
    Do offsite seo methods
    Do guest blogging
You have to work hard to get organic traffic from google

Focus more on long tail LSI keywords with very low search volume to rank short tail keywords. Once you start ranking for long tail LSI keywords, you will automatically start driving good traffic from search engines.

My strategy is I start with low competitive keywords, so search volume is also low, but when you rank for some of these keywords, in total you will get some traffic. For 100 visitors per day I believe my strategy will take only 2-3 weeks.

Well, it actually depends on what kind and how much effort you put into it.
Please keep in mind that high number of visitors can be a great thing, but if the visits aren't targeted, the numbers are just vanity metrics. To get quality traffic focus not only on search engines to generate traffic but also online advertising, social media traffic and guest posting or commenting. Best of luck!

I hope it depend your marketing strategy, which marketing topic you follow or provide. But now a days, guest post is more effective to gain more traffic sources. Although I have little bit doubt. I think expert say the correct things is it correct or wrong?

Great question but the answer is up to you. If you put out videos on youtube re-direct to your website If you go to blogs and put out blogs and redirect back to your website. If you engage with groups on face book and re-direct them to your website. No time at all But if you do nothing then you will die of old age before you get 100. Then the content has to be your own and no one else's Because it is very easy to get people to your website the first time. Getting them back again is the hard part.

    Hey Kamal,

As the other members mentioned, there are a lot of variables that can affect how long it takes to acquire 100 visits per day so I agree there is no straight answer.

As a general reference, I have a product review site that generates a lot of content so I was able to consistently break 100 visits per day around the 3-4 month mark. Once I gained the traction, the site traffic began growing at a rate of about 60% month over month.

I have another e-commerce site that I just launched about two months ago which is barely getting 100-300 visits per month. The e-commerce site is going to take more work/time to hit those same numbers as there's less content, backlinks, and is situated in a highly competitive market. We are implementing a blog and will start developing a lot of content which I expect to double our visits within another 2-3 months.

10 doesn't sound all that unreasonable for the first month. It's according to the niche, which means it's according to the amount of competition.

That has tons of answers. It could just blow up and get tons of visitors, or it could get hardly any. If you wanted more, you might get more from Google Adwords.

  • Hi Kamal, you want to make sure you're targeting lower competition keywords with a new website.

Use Google keyword tool to search for keywords related to your website.
    1) Take a few keywords and combine them into 1 long tail keyword.
    2) Make sure you're optimizing your on-page SEO before trying to build links and doing off page SEO.
    3) Create Social platforms, accounts to forums and related niche websites and link them back to your website to start off.
    4) Research how to build higher quality links. (Youtube videos are great to rank fast and drive more traffic to your website, put your link in the description)

Hope that helps you start off, it's only the basic but if you do the basics, you will have long term success with SEO!

    Best regards,
    Social Activated

New Blog - I started a biotech blog 2 months ago, with 2 focus keywords for most of the articles I publish. I am getting 80+ daily visits from search. It took me 50+ days to reach this.

Old Blog - I have 5-Year-old PR3 Blog, with new focus keyword, it can take not more than 15 Days to get 100 organic visits per day.

It really depends on the "Keywords" and website itself and how well optimized your website is.

I really like this strategy. It's a solid one. I do something similar for my content and it really helps. The hard part for me is generating the material. Writers can be flaky so I depend entirely on myself.

It depends on few things like the quality of your backlink and the on page SEO (Yes.. it's still a metric). Usually if your domain is new it would take 2-3 months to start seeing results of SEO. Assuming you are doing high quality SEO from day 1. In those numbers (100/day) I don't think it depends much on your KW difficulty. It's because you will probably rank for easy LTP KWs in the beginning, even if you are targeting hard KWs, therefore the 100 UVs / Day will be there. When we are talking about high numbers it depends more on the main KWs.

    Pray.. LOL J/k

I would do some SEO keyword research and find long tail keyword that you could use to optimize a page or pages with various keywords related to your niche that isn't being used heavily.

Once you create those pages with those long tail keywords, or even short tail, then its a matter of indexing those pages, sharing them on blogs with good page rank, article sights with high PR, commenting on other blogs, etc.

Once you establish your authority for that particular keyword, the earch engines will pick up on that and start to rank you in the search engines.

You may need to gain access to a keyword tool to see how far you rank within the first 100 pages of google. Once you get below 50, you will start to see traffic everyday. So if you rank under 50 for various long tail keywords that aren't being used heavily, you should begin to see 100 visitors very easily.

I installed Yoast SEO Plugin, and all my posts are 95% optimized. I also submitted my sitemap to google and bing. My site is 40 days old, but i got only 18 visitors from google till now. My website total visitors are 600 (from FB).

Why i got only 18 visitors from google till now? I did something wrong? What is the thing missing?

Yoast's score really doesn't mean much.

You have basically no worthwhile backlinks to your site and you are trying to compete in one of the most competitive market places on the internet in gaming and tech. And it looks like your site is barely a month old.

First, I wouldn't expect any serious search engine traffic in that particular niche for at least 6 months, and much more likely close to a year to build up traffic. You also are going to need to put in a ton of work and money into acquiring quality links if you want to compete in the search engines for that traffic.

Second, I am no lawyer, but you named the site IGN Times. Probably the biggest gaming website on the planet is IGN. Yeah, I know your IGN stands for something different than theirs, but considering you are operating in the same niche and using those letters, you are probably flirting in a legal grey area. Maybe even completely over the line. I hope you consulted with an attorney before setting up this site with that name.

    Hi Kamal,

Everyone's comments here are good tips, I would also consider your domain name, it too plays a key factor for attracting visitors.

Is this a branded website or an feeder website?

Having a domain for your website that includes a keyword or keyword phrase that is targeted for what your target market is already typing into google will help tremendously for you to rank higher and increase your monthly visitors...

    All the best

Depending on the type of "tech" your site caters to I'd definitely look into specialty sites (with good authority) to possibly contribute great content to that will then link back to your site.
A great service to start with is HARO (Help A Reporter Out). You basically sign up by selecting from a huge list of subjects you're qualified to give advice on or insight. Then you'll get a daily email containing loads of journalists, e-zines, etc asking for experts in a given field to "tell a story of a day in the life" or "explain thermodynamics so a five year old could somewhat understand", you get the idea.
The cool thing about HARO (admittedly I haven't used it a bunch myself...I'm somewhat shy) is the backlink power/juice your site receives.

Really focus on quality backlinks and relevant, carefully-keyworded content. (keyworded?)
    Hope this helps, good luck.

    Hi Kamal Chhirang,
MikeFriedman has pointed out really sensitive issue that your domain name may be disputed in the future, so you may need to consult someone expert to confirm that you can carry on with the same domain name. Else at the end you lose your site with these efforts.
