Hi guys,

Been reading lots of posts and threads about dofollow and nofollow links and just a little confused.

There are several products/services available offering packages that list sites with high PR and with dofollow links.

My question is, how can I check if the site allows dofollow, no follow for that matter, links?

And another question is how could I configure my site, wordpress and html platform based, to allow dofollow and/or no follow?
#dofollow #links

Just view source of the page and check for the rel=nofollow tag.

If you're using Firefox as your browser, install SEO For Firefox (SEO for Firefox Extension: Free SEO Toolbar Firefox Browser Plugin ) and it will show you nofollow links in with a red background.

If you use Firefox, you can install a plugin called "NoDoFollow" (search it on Google). When this is installed, you can right-click on any webpage, select "NoDoFollow" from the popup menu and it will highlight all the links on the page. If a link is "nofollow" it will be highlighted 'red'.

By default, Wordpress blog comments are "nofollow". To make your comments dofollow, you can install a free plugin. I think it is called "Dofollow".

An example of noFollow if you want to put it in your code - <a href="www.ibm.com" rel="external nofollow">IBM</a>
