Hi Friends,

I have deleted my website recently but my indexed website results are still displayed in the search results page. But i need to remove those indexed pages from the search results, i can't do it with my webmaster account because my site was deleted and it asks for verification...

Could anyone suggest me any alternate solution to remove the indexed results???

    Hi Elayaraja.
Its not too difficult but i think so you leave it after some time your content not showing in google pages but if you want to do immediately than you used Robert txt file, Than google not index your content.

If your site is still with you, you can disallow robots. Use "noindex" page meta tags in robots.txt file.

Google will automatically recrawl your site and (if it no longer exists) will remove it from the index.

You could try requesting a re-index via Google WebMaster tools but you will need a verifiable domain to be in place.

If the site does not exist then robots.txt will do nothing. Either way it will do nothing until Google recrawls (or attempts to) the web pages.

Sorry for late response I have been away.

I would expect your index to have been removed by now

And yes you can use the content on another web site.

You don't need to do anything. The results will be removed when Google tries to crawl your non-existent website next time.
