What counts most?
Is it the PA or the DA?

Or there's something else that counts.

PA and DA are Moz created terms based on how they think the page is ranked.

That said, usually the higher the Domain Authority the better chances of that site ranking are for a given topic.

I use MozBar and still look at both to sort of give me a ball park figure to see how hard something is going to be to rank for.

Yep; NO search engine uses DA or PA in their ranking algorithm so neither is important

      Nope. Correlation is NOT causation.

There are several things that counts. PA DA are the metrics that can be easily manipulated TF CF are the other metrics that are also considered

Neither one counts for anything at all.

OK then let me ask another question here that then why do people say that this thing is important and we should be looking for the blogs that has higher DA. Even if I look for something in the Google then I notice people mention it so much.
Is it a metric that should be considered?
    What is TF &CF

Mostly you see it because IM'ers are inherently dumb and just copycats. One person says something and the whole industry starts parroting the same crap.

DA and PA are not used by any search engine. They can be looked at to get some indication about what is going on for a site, but no decisions should be made based on DA or PA alone, and I definitely would not waste time obsessing over them for one of your own sites.

What people often forget is that DA rate is always relative to other sites. However, it indicates how a site compares to sites with DA 100, and NOT to one`s direct competitors. It doesn`t always correlate with the rankings, and the major search engines also deny using it. PA/DA may be one of the reference points in your research (I`m mostly using it to quickly filter out superlow-rated websites while researching link-building opportunities), it can also be used to track the changes over time for the same site, but that`s really not a metric to draw any conclusions from.
