    I agree with both of you. Research is extremely necessary to create quality content because writing lots of mediocre content will not help anyone. The brainstorming part is much more difficult than actual creation of content.
    There is one more point narrow down your niche and then create content as per your target audience. Every content is not for the mass. Create specific content targeting the issues of a particular niche.

    First of all if you can't read, you can't write. The more you read the more ideas you have. and you have to spen more time reading about in topics you want to write about.

    If you ask bloggers who started writing the first article on their blog. they will tell you it was crap. they started learning the basics before any advanced strategies and now they are able to write high quality content. its all about consistency and learning from smart bloggers. they know better than us and able to help

    Do research, watch more videos, listen to podcast ask good questions to get good answers. program your mind to read at leat 30 minutes before you sleep. and read when you wake up before you use yourcomputer. why to have new ideas in your mind

    I love the word " invest in your mind" its the way that leads you to success. if you know how to write a Great blog post then the majority of people like it. that's why you need to do your best to acheive those small goals.
