This bothered my mind too. you need to have high quality backlinks, and if you get tons of low quality backlinks in a short amount of time google can pentalize your site.

      Thanks for quick reply,

can you please review the on-page SEO of the site? I already told keywords are low competition even if they can ranked without backlinks. Is any big reason site in not ranking at Top in Google?

No, you don't have complete onpage SEO.

The thousands of backlinks means you don't get SEO, that you did crap offpage SEO. Might be bad enough that Google's made a mental note not to let you move up in ranks. I'm thinking if it weren't for the content (seems you're right there), you would be de-indexed.

SEO clue: it helps a lot if your main keyword is in h1 tags. (Not your case here.)

    First, your client is screwed.

Second, the thread doesn't make sense. You've done all the SEO but you're not ranking a page.

Third, you've butchered the link profile blasting thousands of links.

    Refund the client.

If you think your on-page SEO is good then my suggestion is, just start content promotion on targeted keywords.

Seems to be a very common thing this I've done all the SEO but I'm not ranking. The same people would not say I drove all the way to Chicago but I'm still in Cleveland. I'm struggling understanding how they think I've done all the SEO but am not ranking makes any sense.

It's a bit of a joke when your offering a client your SEO services when you don't even know how to provide the service. Your risking someones business when building thousands of backlinks, you shouldn't be doing anything to anyone's websites.

I just say trash any crap links..fiverr stuff, and start from the beginning using quality links based on what they do.
I had to do that in the past..got some real turds from supposedly high page rank backlinks from a few online places..not just fiverr.
I ate the crow..I had the buyers money involved in bad links..I trashed them, and built it up honestly..
    Do not regret it now.

It seems that you are aware of all the digital marketing activities and have applied those to rank high. I would suggest you content marketing. The best way will be to create an infographic where you will include many data and facts with the keyword "Four Percent Group". That information can be positive of negative bt 4% is constant. This will be very interesting and people will be eager to go through it.
If you post a blog, create the title as "how to move from 4% to 100%" or "Only 4% people can achieve it: Want to be a part of that group?"
Use your brand name in a creative way in your content (blog, Q&A, infographic, videos, etc.)
You can take the ideas from different digital marketing blogs like Kissmetrics, Techmagnate, Search Engine Land, Content Marketing Institute etc. They usually come up with such innovative ideas.
