I want to start Youtube channel to provide
some information and to help others in the field.

Basically the niche is internet marketing (affiliates,
MLM, coaching, solo ads, traffic)

And I have searched but didn't find
the info I was looking for.

What kind of hashtags do I put in the videos?
How can I make it more approachable to others to see?

You can use tags you think people are going to search for when they are looking for something related to your products. You can promote your YouTube videos on social media, or even use Facebook ads.

You can make the vids more appealing by making it not too long, and the display photo must be kind of positive and catchy.

    Good luck!

I agree with Tesslady... It's pretty easy to market your YouTube channel! There are a number of means you can do it, such as what Tesslady suggested.

However, you can also promote your channel through blog/forum posting and commenting.

Well, as with any search engine (be it Google or YouTube) there`s a specific list of factors that are taken into account. I find the following tactics the most useful: first try checking the list of your potential keywords and see if there are any videos on the SERPs for them, as there are so-called 'video keywords' which are more likely to return videos among regular results (and I bet it would be great for you to appear in Google`s universal search).

Next, to target them effectively create great descriptive titles for your videos, and, what`s more important, create long rich descriptions optimized for your keywords instead of just putting hashtags (long-tails may work great here). The thing is that Google doesn`t watch your video, and I know cases when detailed description helped to rank a video real high, as it was easier for the search engine to evaluate its relevancy to the query.

The last point is rather obvious - spread the word over social networks, share your video link as an addition to your helpful advice in a blog/forum comment; in your video you should also incourage viewers to share it, add it to playlists and subscribe to the channel. One of the most crucial factors to evaluate the usefulness of your video would be views, likes and comments, so go for it.

Regarding the so-called video keywords Rank Tracker can be very handy in this sort of keyword research cause you can see if the serp for any keyword is having video search type results (even if you are not ranking in it). Moreover, there is YouTube available as a separate search engine (apart from the universal search results in Google itself).

      .
      Thanks for the help.
      Just got a few questions.

Where can I check the potential
      keywords to my niche?

And sorry for the newbie question
      but what is SERPs?

Sorry, have just noticed! What I meant was checking the search engine results pages (SERPs) for your keywords. Simply google the keywords you`d like to rank for and find those which are more likely to return videos in results. For instance 'cat breeds' doesn`t return any videos, but if you google for 'cat talking' you`ll see video results at the top:

To find the keyword ideas for your topic you can use any keyword research tools, some of them even allow checking the SERPs at once to see if keywords return any Universal Search results (be it Images or Videos). This will help you decide which keywords you`d like to optimize for, to rank not only in Videos tab but in Universal Search among regular results, too.

Thank you for all the help!

Just one more question about the keyword research tools.
do you something that you recommend?

Well, I`m using RankTracker from SEO PowerSuite (I believe it has been mentioned here somewhere), as it`s just the most comprehensive to me. It has an in-built keyword research and analysis module to begin with, but what`s crucial - it has that feature where you can check the rankings for keywords and see if there`s a Local Pack or other Universal Search results on results pages, even if you are not in it.

So you can use that as a part of research (to detect keywords returning images or videos), or, for instance, you can monitor if there are Local Packs on pages where you rank, to see if you`re missing on an opportunity and can optimize for it purposefully.

Pick related keywords for your hashtags. Related to your niche or specific topic.

You can also look at your competitors' or similar videos' hashtags and get your ideas from there.

I agree with the usage of proper tags, but also I think its all in your presentation as far as the videos are concerned, and the titles of your videos. Ive seen people's views sky rocket just by placing controversial things in their titles to get people engaged. Not saying you have to say something reckless to get attention, but make your title pop!

According to me you should head from about the quality of the Videos, then:
    SEO for Youtube
Run the ad Adword for Video
    Pulling traffic from social
Pulling traffic on the video from the website visitor high
