How long does it take to rank for NON-COMPETITIVE keywords in Google?

Based on you guys' experience, how long does it take to rank highly for non competitive keywords in Google - provided that the on page optimization is done PERFECTLY.

I have domains targeting terms that folks may be of interest to people months down the line and am wondering how long it would take to get to page 1 in Google?

Example someone may type; "big ugly pink grizzly bear" in Google, and I own biguglypinkgrizzlybear.com, how long will it take to rank for it using on page optimization + content updates alone? Naturally, I'd add some quality backlinks as well but am new to this approach and would very much appreciate any feedback.

Thanks!

I would say get indexed pretty fast, sometimes in 24 hours. But ranking on page 1, I am not sure. Is it the same thing as index?
Although, sometimes it would take days after days after days like this cat..lol.

I would say first you get your website index first in google then think about ranking. Do some quality Social bookmark and add few original peaces of content in order to get indexed in google.

Then create content based on your keyword and variations of your keyword (semantically related word) + Quality backlinks from high authoritative sites. Though you can start with blog commenting,High quality directory submission and go to guest posting on few related sites. Another thing concentrate little on social platforms.

I am sure if you follow this steps you will get your ranking with in 2-3 months of doing this

As what I have observed, my website was indexed in Google after a month. Then, it has ranked higher (not highest, since it's in the bottom part of the first page, but not bad lol) after 2 months of putting in all my efforts on it. I did SEO, social media marketing, website updating and etc)

How would you explain "Perfectly On Page Optimization" because this will determine how effective you are and also not every site has the same On Page needs. Everyone can say that but on how you implement the method is really a different story.

Not really sure how to explain this as I'll be paying a pro with a strong track record and an amazing portfolio to do this for me.

It will take somewhere between immediately and never.

Honestly, if there is no competition, as Google pointed out, you should pretty much rank on page 1 as fast as the page is indexed.

They sound like snake oil salesmen. Why do people open up their wallets for such nonsense?

This thread ranks #1 for "How long does it take to rank for NON-COMPETITIVE keywords in Google"

Why would you need to wait 24 hours? If google crawls your junk on a regular basis....it's almost instantaneous.

Why would you need a pro?

This thread also ranks as the only page for (in quotes again)
        "big ugly pink grizzly bear"

No quotes needed....this thread also ranks #1 and only for biguglypinkgrizzlybear.com

Nobody paid a penny for this ranking.....

          Hi Paul,

Seems like you might be having a bad day by the tone of your reply. I hope you have a great Friday. See my responses in red below.

Can you post a screen shot? I don't see it on page one or two.

Thanks for calling my stuff "junk" having no clue what it is. I'll chalk it up to a bad day / week. It gets greater later. Positivity prevails!

Why would you need a pro?

I don't need a pro. I delegate to maximize efficiency. Time is money. I invest my time in areas I'm strongest to maximize my earning potential. If you're not delegating, you're losing money.

This thread also ranks as the only page for (in quotes again)
          "big ugly pink grizzly bear"

My site has nothing to do with big ugly pink grizzly bears. That was an example. Sometimes people use examples to illustrate points without going into specifics. It is very common for people to use examples to paint a picture and tell a story without giving 100% detail as to their specific situation.

I've typed "big ugly pink pink grizzly bear" in Google (quotes and no quotes) and don't see this thread on page one.

For non-competitive keywords in Google, i think it takes you a very long time because even those competitive keywords in Google are getting not that high in rank.

    Depend on keyword competition:
If is high competition - will take you months
If no competition - will take you hours

    * To index page to google should take maxim 1 hour - if more then you're doing something wrong(update your sitemap to google)

I think what Paul was getting at is the waffle unicorn jackwagon battery pill phenomenon.

If there's no competition on Google for a keyword all you pretty much have to do is mention the keyword and the page will rank.

That fake keyword actually started out as a joke here on WF but you can learn how Google reacts to your on-page optimization by doing the same (create fake test keywords) and then carry what you've learned over to real keywords/pages.

This way you can eliminate 100% of the SERP competition so there's no guessing If what you're testing works or not.
