Say I have 100 keywords that are all very similar. How can I rank for all these keywords in just one page? Is that even possible??

I know how to rank for the initial keyword by putting it in the h1 title, the URL, h2, alt images and so on.

The problem is, I created a blog post and I do not want to spam making poor content and repetitive posts just so I can do the same with other keywords.

My real question is, say you have a list of 100 keywords that are all very similar, should I stuff these keywords in a big blog post? I don't know how else you go about getting ranked for so many different keywords. :\

There are pretty much 3 types of content in SEO. there is exact match content, there is intent based content and then there is LSI based content. With your scenario obviously you would want to start with the LSI based content. After doing that you want to start tracking the terms.

In the tracking process you obviously want to watch rank for each term, but more importantly the number of impressions ( times viewed ) and on what page in the serps. Say you have a term that is not ranked to well say 66th but its getting 50 or so impressions a month. That would be a term you would want to go back in and write a exact match piece to target.

Basically what you want to do is go ahead and write the targeting 100 keyword piece and use it as a data set to get a better more exact idea of what terms you really should be targeting.

Something else you can do is take your very similar keyword list and remove duplicate words. Lets say I start with a list of keywords below...

    Start
    • homeowners insurance reviews
    • homeowners insurance coverage
    • homeowners insurance calculator
    • homeowners insurance companies
    • cheap homeowners insurance
    • compare home insurance quotes

    Finish
    • calculator
    • cheap
    • companies
    • compare
    • coverage
    • home
    • homeowners
    • insurance
    • quotes
    • reviews

Now you have a list of the keywords to use in your content without looking spammy. As always use exact match for your main keyword/s (page title, heading text, etc...). In this example the main keyword would be homeowners insurance.

I would suggest not to do that instead feed those keywords in Kwfinder or other tools get the Monthly searches and Keyword Difficulty of those keywords.

Now pick the ones that have good monthly searches and less KD and target them on your article and if you rank for them eventually you will rank for other synonyms also.

You can put 3-4 keywords on your landing page.

    Thank you!
