20% Refund Rate.. Amazing

Hello,

A few weeks ago I started an AdWords campaign promoting a "satellite tv for pc" product that I found in the clickbank marketplace.

After about 10 days of running that campaign I gave a look at all the sales made and I sow that 4 out of 20 sales made had already been refunded.

Well, 4/20 = 20/100! It's really incredible...

Anyone in this niche? Could you please share your experience?

Thank you.

Is this your first CB product, and have you experienced lower returns in the past? I'm no expert but the refund rate does not surprise me.

I used to sell this type of product a few years ago, the conversion rate was high - as was the refund rate and requests for support.

This was because the salesletter did not live up to its promises, the feeds listed used to go offline frequently and there was not a reasonable range of channels - so people felt that they'd been ripped off (and they pretty much had). In the end I decided it just wasn't worth the hassle.

My refund rate in some seo software is around 60%

In this niche a 20% refund rate is probably pretty low or at least average.

I think most of these products are pretty much scams and I'm
surprised clickbank still has them in their marketplace.

That's pretty typical for ClickBank. That's why I try not to touch them with a 10 foot pole.

but do you guys ever consider that those customers probably just being greedy and unethical?

They want to keep both...Money and Product...It is not like they going to delete those digital products once they requested for refund.

my experience with PC TV is that it's been pretty unreliable. That's probably why the requests for refunds.

You mean like people who want to make money online without investing anything? If the product is of lower quality than the offer suggests which I know they are, then who is being unethical? the seller or the buyer. Actually I imagine your refund rate will go higher.

This wasn't the first product I promoted on cb!

I will try to switch to another sat to pc product, just to test but I really think to turn off these campaigns very soon.

I have been looking at the adwords ads using the ad preview tool for 15 days now. Every and each of these 15 days I sow 3 different affiliate ads that constantly were in 2nd 3rd and 4rd position... and still now they are on these position.

This should mean that their ad is profitable.. well, I'm using quite the same ad and the same landing page of one of them (because we are promoting the same product and on its affiliate page there were landing page templates already made).

But I'm on the 5th position, paying $0.15 click with a QS around 8, and he is in 3rd position and paying much more.. well, my ad isn't so profitable...I spent exactly what I earn.

How can his ad be profitable if he is paying more than me every click??

    He is on 3rd position
he pay more than me every click
we have the same landing page and quite same ad.
his ad is profitable, mine no.

    Can anyone explain how?

    Thank you very much!

Just because his ad his above yours doesn't necessarily mean he's paying more per click. If he has a higher CTR than you, he can pay a lower cost per click and still have his ad shown above yours.

well, my ad is having a ctr of 4%+ . If this is the case, he should have a ctr of 10%.. with a keyword like "tv for pc" is very difficult to achieve a 10%.

Remember that his ad and mine are not very different.

Yeah...those products (Satellite over PC) are junk and can get your Adwords account suspended.
