Help! Google is Being a Bitch :(

So, iv'e bee ntrying to rank my squidoo lenses - im using the bum marketing model (and One Week Marketing) by potpiegirl. Suffice to say, google has being a complete a-hole with me.

No matter what i do or write, they refuse to list (THINK OF THAT, NOT EVEN LISTED!!!) my bloody Lenses!!! The funny thing here is, my RRS feed for my lens rank within a day or hours and even ranks 8 on the serps... I have a article on ezine that is being sendt through the validation prosess, hopefully this will help me get my lens LISTED and ranked, but if not...

    I doubt that one solitary article on eZine will do it. Try a minimum of 10, then rewrite them all 10 times each, and list them with other article publishers such as GoArticles and Buzzle. AND all those articles should focus on the same, identical long tail keyword, which I'm assuming your Squidoo lens is written around.

      Mmm sorry to hear that.

      have you analysed the front page to see if it's going to be possible to rank a Squidoo lens?

      I've been having great succes lately with Squidoo and it's great.

    I would say work on a broader link building campaign. Ezine Articles is good, but as AnniePot suggested, re-writing and submitting your article to other directories is also a good idea. GoArticles, Buzzle, Amazines, etc. are very good. Even if you don't want to take the time to re-write them, still get them out to other sites. Don't rely fully on just Ezine Articles.

    Try social bookmarking and use social networks to drive traffic to your lens. Blog commenting is another way to get backlinks. It's important to get backlinks pointing to your lens. Once Google finds a link to your lens on an already indexed page, then you'll definitely be in.

    How old is your lens? If it's fairly new, I wouldn't expect to see it indexed right away. However, if you start getting backlinks and Google picks those up, you'll get indexed soon after, if not right away.
