Why do my backlinks not register?

I have a number of backlinks, but they don't seem to appear on any backlink-checking services (like SEM Rush), even though they do appear for my competitors.

In fact, I haven't been able to get one backlink to register. Is there something wrong with my site?

My business is engraversguild.co.uk and I've noted some of the pages where my backlinks are listed (it's the first one I'm most interested in). I don't think any of them have a 'No Follow' tag:

http://directory.mirror.co.uk/company/924244552503296
http://local.standard.co.uk/company/924244987338752

Any help received would be very much appreciated.

Go to the hosting pages and check manually that the backlinks are present or not.

Hi expmrb. Thanks very much for your reply. I'm quite new to this.... how would I go to the hosting pages and check manually if the backlinks are there? I'm not even entirely sure what is meant by 'hosting pages'.

Hi David. Thanks for your reply. I checked my inbound links on Google Search Console - and it currently says there are none. Could this be because I had only set my site on Search Console as engraversguild.co.uk and not www.engraversguild.co.uk?

Bulk online backlink checkers are lucky to update once a month, even then they don't have the capacity to crawl the entire web like Google does.

Your backlinks are all in place and dofollow, so there`s nothing wrong.

Backlink services rely on their indexes, and their crawlers may indeed need months to complete the circle and update all the data; it`s quite a common issue I`d say, that the data from almost any service is partially outdated all the time. You can still check any backlink page directly in a browser, or with a tool that allows improting backlinks manually.

The backlink pages should just be re-crawled at some point, and the links will be indexed if still in place.

That's great to know, thanks so much for checking. Can I ask what tool it is that you're using there?

Would that be the case also with my Google Search Console? At the moment, there are no links showing there either. Perhaps it could be because I have it set to engraversguild.co.uk and not www.engraversguild.co.uk?

Search Console will never show all of your links. Nothing does.

As long as the page is cached by Google with your link on it, Google knows it exists. That's all you need to worry about.

Personally I`m using SEO SpyGlass to manage backlinks. It has its own cralwer and intergration with GA and Search Console, but it also allows adding backlinks manually. I usually import the new backlinks at once so that I don`t have to wait until they`re crawled and found in indexes. The tool can update any link anyway - it scans the backlink pages directly to check the presence and link attributes, so you see all details like this:

        Really handy.

check in your webmaster for authentic results.. btw your first link is indexed in google but other 2 links are not crawled by google yet.. share them on social media and do bookmarking for their fast and natural indexation..

Thanks Ahmed. By 'webmaster', do you mean my Google Search Console? At the moment, no backlinks are showing at all. Could this be because my site is registered here without the 'www.'?

It's because Google can take months to update the data they share with you, and even then they don't list all of the links they are aware of.

I need to know your site has created how long, if it is new, the inspection service backlink and google webmasters tools will not show.
But you don't need to worry the backlink still count for your site.
