Question about backlinks

Hello,
I'm still learning seo. Question about building high quality back links. When I post backlink to my site, do I use my domain name as a backlink, or should I use link for my product (keyword) that I'm trying to rank for? For example, forum commenting, what should I use for my profile link (domain name) or (product link on my site)? I'm little confused about this part. My site is optimized for many different keywords for my industry, so if I use my domain name backlink am I juicing for all of the keywords? Or should I build links for particular keyword (product link) at the time?

    Well it is depend on you, you can use sites accordingly, for example if you are building links with Business Directories then definitely you have to put your home page over there because they ask for it. Yes when you are hyper linking your keywords then you can use internal pages with specific keywords.

    You want your backlinks to be as natural as possible, especially using a tactic like forum commenting that you mentioned. So if you are merely referencing your business, the home page should be ok, but if you are commenting about a specific product or resource I would recommend putting a backlink directly to that product or resources page. Doing a mix of both helps the overall ranking for your website, just make sure you do not overdo it with one backlink tactic only.

    If you are merely referencing your business, the home page should be ok, but if you are commenting about a specific product or resource I would recommend putting a backlink directly to that product or resources page.

    If you are promoting any inner pages or products then you should use them for backlinks. Because according to number of backlinks you can increase weight of home page of inner pages. If most of website is linking to your inner pages then priority of inner pages will be best to show in google result than home page.
