Just to make sure I understand this correctly....

If I post an article on No Follow Site A, my article can get picked up by the search engines but the comments that come after will not?

and

Does a comment on a Do Follow have to be a certain number of words for it to get indexed at all?

TY!

The no follow relates to the search engines passing on Page Rank and counting the links as useful to your site.

They'll still get human traffic. The search engines just get told not to follow them.

For your second point - no.

  • Nofollow links get crawled just fine.

Who really knows how or what Google is actually doing with them now.

Post comments or articles on sites that makes sense to your readers/visitors and that will generate traffic on their own.

Is a site ranked as a whole and then each page has its own rank also?

So Madonna's pagerank on Myspace would rank higher than UnknownSingers
But the home page of Myspace would have its own rank based on an aggregate or am I thinking to much
