Linking to two different (but related) websites in same blog post

My business has two different websites. One is a general site about the business, and the other is focused entirely on one of our areas of specialization. Both sites are under the same hosting account, and both sites are managed by the same search console/webmaster tools accounts. My question is, are there any issues if someone else's blog post has links to both of my sites? That is, does it look like an unnatural attempt to gain backlinks? Or would it be better to have the blog post only link to one of my websites?
