Am not that big an expert on seo but from my former research, I learnt Google hardly uses Page Rank for ranking websites. Now, I guess we all know most of our SEO techniques are always tailored to suit Google's requirements.

For now, Google uses Domain and page authority to rank sites. So I guess that's what you should be focusing on bro Dailylifehacks

Just learn how to build backlinks the white hat way... Mostly guest posting and all

Google no longer consider Pagerank as a website ranking factor while PA & DA help in SEO ranking in Google.

At present situation you should care for no one. PR which is not public anymore and DA is a third party metrics so it doesn't count.

Pagerank is discontinued by Google. So you can target Domain Authority only. Few possibles ways to get better DA, generate quality backlinks for your site and make it more SEO optimized.

Domain Authority is the authenticity of root of domain means main url of your site or site name.. So many factors work behind to gain domain authority - 1. Domain Age

Page Authority - is the Authenticity of your single page from your site.. this is developed by moz..

Horse manure. Domain age and social signals are NOT used in the DA calculations.

Today authority is defined by trust scores taken from Majestic and domain authority, page authority taken from Moz.

Page rank and Domain Authority both are different factors of SEO. The last update of Page Rank released on February 04th 2013 and after everyone is following Domain authority and Page authority for search engine ranking. In the past, Page rank decided by Google but in the present Moz is handling DA & PA for everything.

Obviously DA is better then page rank because SE does not consider pagerank as a ranking factor. So focus on generate good backlinks from high DA and PA with relevancy.

DA is NOT better than PR as DA is not used by any search engine as a ranking factor.
Google still uses PR as a ranking factor.

Bullshit! Google still use PAgeRank to rank sites. DA is NOT used by any search engine to rank sites..
      • PR is limited to measuring the influence of links, while DA includes a wider range of metrics.
Bullshit. DA is based totally on links
      • DA updates several times each month, while PR does not.
Bullshit. DA is NOT updated several times a month. PR is updated every day!

Where are you getting this shite from?

What I know that is Google has stopped updating page rankAnd the most important metrics now a days are moz metrics and Majestic metrics.

You know wrong. Google still updates PR every day and factors that into the ranking algorithm. it just no longer exports that value.

    Hi,
Domain Authority is a metric created by Moz.com as a more accurate indication of the value of the site.
PageRank is an algorithm created by Google founder Larry Page, and named after him. It’s a simple measurement of links and link equity.

Page Rank tool by Google is gone now because Google want to evaluate the real time natural factors of any web page to give it good or bad ranks.
Page Authority and Domain Authority is a term introduced by MOZ in the industry of Search Engine Optimization. These are just measure's to evaluate the quality of any web page and domain by some of industry experts. If you want to follow them then consider the Domain authority (D/A) the priority and Good Page authority (P/A) the most important factor . Means both are important.

But If don't want to follow these measure's and consider the Google's real time factors of quality and uniqueness be natural with researched information on your page then your web page will get good ranks in Search Engine automatically. There's no need to consider any kind of PA/DA.

What is gone, is the common sense or any clue to google or SEO.

You people are totally clueless and deserve each other.

I could repeat that PA DA are not used by any search engine...and google still uses PageRank. But that would be a waste of cyberspace.

page rank is not a part of SEO any more. The things you should keep an eye on are PA and DA (which stand for Page Authority and Domain Authority). They are what keep your site take good place in Google search machine.

More total shite being posted in this thread!!

WTF do DA and PA have to do with "keep your site take good place in Google"? NO search engine uses DA and PA as ranking factors.
